Intensive training of Conference Week coupled with new technology on the show floor to create valuable efficiencies for converters.
Oklahoma City, OK – Maxcess International, a world leader in the supply of engineered components for the web handling industry, announced today plans to hold their annual week-long training event in conjunction with CMM International 2009 in Chicago, June 2nd-4th. The partnership is expected to create an ideal learning environment and further improve accessibility to industry expertise.
The technical Conference Week curriculum offers converters access to industry experts and an intensive view of web handling, from general theory to the detailed application of technology. Session content contains a range of topics to help converters improve existing operations, with a focus on the processes of tension control, slitting, guiding and winding. Extended breaks and group tours of the CMM exhibition floor will aid in the comprehension of key concepts and provide opportunities to cement learning.
“The co-location of Maxcess’ Conference Week at CMM will give our attendees even more opportunity to learn from industry experts,” stated MaryBeth DeWitt, CMM Show Director. “Conference Week’s content will compliment the existing training provided by our other industry partners and the educational sessions included in the extensive CMM conference program.”
“Past Conference Week attendees are showing excitement for their peers being able to learn the principles and get their hands on a variety of technology to help their process lines at the close-by exhibit hall,” added Stephanie Tuggle, Director of Maxcess University.
